Francesca Marotta was born in southern Italy in 1984. At a young age, she made the decision to leave her village and relocate to Milano to pursue her academic goals. She successfully completed her Bachelor and Master degrees studies in Chemical and Material Engineering.
Notable highlights in Francesca's career include her master's thesis in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the National Commission of Nuclear Energy, where she specialized in Corrosion. Following her academic achievements, she joined Baxter as a Research and Development (R&D) engineer. Francesca has since progressed to the role of Senior Manager R&D in Belgium, where she continues to work for the company.
Despite living abroad, Francesca maintains strong ties with her big Italian family and friends, frequently returning home every month.
Francesca enjoys traveling and considers Gran Canaria a second home. She loves visiting art and history museums, watching Formula 1 and MotoGP and taking long walks.
