Katrin only came into IT later in her professional life. She started her Education in a master’s degree in business administration at Technical University Dresden in 1990. Her theses covered chances for international Student Exchange for emerging markets in Eastern Europe. She worked at EF Education for many years in various Sales-, Operations- and Product- Management positions enabling students to spend a year abroad. Cultural Exchange and it´s challenges were the driving force for her master’s degree in human communication at the Dresden International University in 2012. The knowledge about the human aspect in all interactions is a key competence in IT as well. Thus, Katrin was able to enter Deutsche Telekom Multimedia Solutions GmbH as a newcomer in Program Management, Software Product Management, Project Management and Privacy & Security. Katrin is working as an Information Security Officer for a Telecommunications Client since 2022.
