Description

The idea of Zero Defects is more than a concept, it is mission critical for all organizations in the automotive industry supply chain.  It is not enough for these organizations to embrace a continuous improvement culture, but rather active exploration into current, previous, and possible future nonconformities to drive defects to zero.  It takes finely-tuned programs and considerable focus on detection but even more so on systemic prevention.  Most importantly, it takes a top management commitment to ensure zero defects is not just a buzzword, but a conscientious, daily effort to remove defect opportunities from the design, production,  delivery, and service processes to ensure customers receive the highest quality products attainable.

Speaker Rene Rongen, NXP Reliability Fellow and Sr. leader within the Automotive Electronics Council, will elaborate on the new AEC Q004 Automotive Zero Defects Framework and what Zero Defects means to Automotive suppliers.  Speaker Michael Brucker, GlobalFoundries Automotive Systems Sr. Manager, will introduce GF’s approach to Zero Defects using its AutoPro™ Solutions.
